  • 1 cup Diced apples preferably Granny Smith for that tart kick
  • 1 cup Fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 sheets Ready-made pie crust
  • 1 Egg for egg wash
  • Powdered sugar for dusting, optional

Method
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine diced apples, blackberries, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
  • Roll out the pie crust using a rolling pin. Cut out circles using the pie cutter or knife.
  • Place a spoonful of the fruit mixture in the center of each pie circle.
  • Fold the circle in half, sealing the edges by pressing with a fork.
  • Lightly beat the egg and brush it over the top of each hand-pie for a golden finish.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the hand-pies in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t overlap.
  • Cook for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Once done, remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
