Equipment

  • Mixing Bowls (medium and large)
  • A fork or potato masher
  • A whisk or electric mixer

Ingredients
 

  • 3 Ripe bananas mashed
  • cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter melted
  • ¾ cup Brown sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Walnuts or chocolate chips chopped, optional

Method
 

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar. Mix until smooth.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  • Stir in the mashed bananas until well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until incorporated. If using, fold in the walnuts or chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  • Place the loaf pan in the air fryer and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Once done, remove the banana bread from the air fryer and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
