  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Cinnamon sugar, you can make this by mixing 1/2 cup of sugar with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon

  • Start by combining the flour, water, sugar, salt, and oil in a mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture forms a dough.
  • Heat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • While the air fryer is heating, transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
  • Once the air fryer is heated, pipe long strips of dough directly into the air fryer basket. Be careful not to overcrowd the basket; you may need to cook the dough in batches.
  • Cook the dough in the air fryer for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Using tongs, carefully remove the cooked dough from the air fryer and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
  • While the dough is still hot, roll it in the cinnamon sugar until it’s fully coated.
  • Repeat the process until all the dough has been cooked and coated in cinnamon sugar.
Chefs Tips
  1. Ensure the dough is of the right consistency. If it’s too thick, it won’t pipe easily; if too thin, it won’t hold its shape.
  2. It’s essential not to overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking and prevent the dough from sticking together.
  3. For an added touch, you can drizzle some melted chocolate or caramel sauce over the delights once they’re coated in cinnamon sugar.
  4. If you don’t have a piping bag, you can use a zip-lock bag with a corner snipped off as a makeshift piping bag.
  5. Always be cautious when removing the hot delights from the air fryer to avoid burns.
