Equipment

Ingredients
  

For The Fish Pops

  • 8360 g Hake, 8/10 (cut into 2cm x 2cm cubes)
  • 360 g Turmeric
  • 2 g Fine pepper
  • 260 g Cake flour
  • 2 Eggs 
  • 80 g Breadcrumbs

For The Baby Potatoes

  • 400 g Baby potato (boiled)
  • 20 ml Olive oil
  • 2 g Turmeric

For The Mayo

  • 120 ml Mayonnaise
  • 20 ml Lemon juice

Method
 

For The Fish Pops

  • Mix flour & salt together in a separate bowl.
  • Mix paprika & panko in a separate bowl.
  • Crumb fish cubes by dipping in flour then egg then panko crumbs.
  • Fry in oil until golden & crisp. 

For The Baby Potatoes

  • Coat boiled baby potatoes in olive oil & roast until golden.

For The Skewers

  • Thread baby potatoes & fish pops onto 2 skewers.

For The Mayo

  • Combine ingredients together. Serve separately.
Chefs Tips
Double up on this recipe because the kids will finish them, and if they don’t the parents will! They are also great to put out as snacks, a tartare or sweet chili sauce will make a great accompaniment for the adults.
